Why were you invited to this newsletter?   Everybody comes from somebody! This is what all of us have in common.    In the early stages of the website some very interesting family history was included. It took us back to the early 1780's with Charles and Sarah Marshall, the parents of Mathew Marshall Ford who was Enslaved. It went on to tell us how Jane Ford a free woman married a slave and so Mathew took on her Surname. Jane and Mathew had 17 children. And finally, it explained our Early beginnings in what is known as Culpeper, Virginia.

You may not have been a history buff, but Culpeper was the sight of the most military battles in the Civil war.  Why is this important to Our family?  Jane and Mathew (a former slave) ran a commissary for the Union Army in the midst of the war.  Less than a mile away from the homestead was a military jail.

You have to ask yourself: What kind of People were Our Family!  Some of our new readers may still ask: Why  is Jane and Mathew important to us. Well Jane and Mathew fathered Richard Ford who married Sarah and had Mary T who in turn married Dock Stroud.  Well, hold on, Dock  and Mary had 5 daughters who eventually moved to Mount Vernon, N.Y and married into the Haden, Tucker, Michael,  Ford and Wyatt Family.  Need I say more?

155th Edition

Peace and Positive energy Family,

Giving All Honor and Praise to the "Most High"

There's so much negativity being throw at us these days; in an attempt to bait us into a confrontation. I encourage everyone to Stay Alert and be proactive. Make decisions and plans for the "what If" moments. Think of it as "what if" you get fired, " what if" your Social Security gets cut, "what if" you can't get a job even if you're qualified, "what if "you are written out of the pages of History and what if the money is not there to send your children to college? It's time to think and prepare for the 'What If"!

Family, although we are scattered across the world, prepare now for "what If". Because "what if " is something Grandma was always prepared for. Can you remember when she would lean forward and put her hand in her bra and unroll her little stash, or she sent you to the store with those empty bottles to help pay for what she wanted? Better yet, no phone she'd send that boy or that girl over there. So today the question is: What's our plan for the " what if " the internet is shut down, what if the satellite services is interrupted and theirs no phone service; what's the plan?

Being prepared is what we have to do so our children, our elders, our brother's and our sisters know what to do. So they know that you are ok. What's the plan? This is not a doomsday message, it's a reminder that All of us must pay attention and plan for our successes and for that what if moment.

In this world we can't afford not to be aware. Even more importantly we must pull our children into the circle where knowledge is shared. For everyone's survival our children must be in the know. Know where to go, know how to see truth vs a lie, know how we got here and finally know who they are. History is being rewritten and we are being written out. Share our story, share the trials and contributions of Our story and share the necessity to stay united.

Prepare for "What if". take care and Teach the children our Truth!
