Why were you invited to this newsletter? This is what all of us have in common.
In the early stages of the website some very interesting family history was included. It took us back to the early 1780's with Charles and Sarah Marshall, the parents of Mathew Marshall Ford a Slave. It went on to tell us how Jane Ford a free woman married a slave and so Mathew took on her Surname. And finally, it explained our Early beginnings in what is known as Culpeper, Virginia.
You may not have been a history buff, but Culpeper was the sight of the most military battles in the Civil war. Why is this important to Our family. Jane and Mathew (a former slave) ran a commissary for the Union Army in the midst of the war. Less than a mile away from the homestead was a military jail.
You have to ask yourself: What kind of People were Our Family! Some of our new readers may still ask : Why is Jane and Mathew important to us. Well Jane and Mathew fathered Richard Ford who married Sarah and had Mary T who in turn married Dock Stroud. Well, hold on Dock and Mary had 5 daughters who eventually moved to Mount Vernon, N.Y and married into the Haden, Tucker, Michael, Ford and Wyatt Family. Need I say more?

November Blessings Family,
Yes, let me first say I'm so very Thankful for each one of you as family members!
I'm blessed because each of you were chosen not by me but by the Grace of the Most High. With all due Respect I greet each of you with love. As we enter into this Season of Gratitude and Thankfulness let's be mindful of the many little things that have brought us Joy or has given us Strength.
Be careful with lamenting about things we couldn't change. But prayerfully understand we still stand in spite of our losses. Not only do we stand but our survival is a testament to strength. Life isn't just what we have, what we loss or what we've done. It's a combination of all the twist and turns, the ups and downs, as well as the lessons learned. Always be mindful of what part you played in where you are today.
Thankful and Grateful for the life lessons and the love received!
Family keep an eye on your mental health it's vey fragile during this season.
On a lighter note, please share some of the many activities you and the family doing during these next three months. We would love to laugh with you.

Family, it's been a difficult time with the recent passing of family members . We had asked for your prayers on the than ailing Jamal Myles Boone. We must inform you now that Jamal made his transition on Oct 1st in California. Please keep his wife Lynn Boone, his mother Tereasa Haden Boone, his sister Jasmine Jennings and brother Rhassan Boone in your prayers, There will be a memorial service for Jamal on his birthday next year. The service will be in Rhode Island where Jamal grew up and lived before moving to California.

Please send your prayers out to Cousin Royce Davis in New York. Royce the son of Kim Morefield Davis and Great Grandson of Harry P Sr. and Helen Stroud Tucker was hospitalized for a virus. Royce was experiencing what seemed to be a cold, but manifested into an accelerated heart beat and low blood count. We are happy to report he is home now.
We asking for prayers for Glover Haden who reminds us Boys will be Boys! Glover fractured his arm this past weekend while away with his parents Kyle and Chela Sanchez Haden. Glover, the Great Grandson of Clarence Stroud and Barbara Glover Haden, will be back home in Pennsylvania recovering.

Wider Horizon Book Club
The Wider Horizon Book Club just completed reading "What The Fireflies Knew" a novel by Kai Harris.
The discussions held on this book suggest it's a book everyone could appreciate. So if you're looking for an easy yet interesting read this book is one we would recommend.
Next months book Club will meet on the 18th of November because of the Thanksgiving holiday. So join us in reading "Walking In My Joy: In These Streets" by Jennifer Lewis

Atlanta Georgia! lets give a loud shout out of congratulations to Danielle Haden and Bryron E Turner Jr. who announced they are having a baby boy. Danielle is the granddaughter of lloyd and Dorothy McKelvey Haden .
New York has the best news, hailing that Our Matriarch 97 yrs young Jean Tucker Grant is reported free of Covid by her daughters. Our Matriarch was under quarantine for 10 days after being reported exposed to Covid at the Sarah Neuman Rehab facility in Larchmont, New York.
Florida is screaming loud and Proud, It's about to happen on November 5th 2023. Yes, twenty three family and friends are cruising on Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas to celebrate Raymond Cooper's 75th birthday and Horatio Greens 50th Birthday. Raymond is a member of the Haden line and Horatio is a member of the Tucker line. Safe and Happy travels family
